Starting out in your field of specialty

Entrance into Estée Lauder Companies can be initiated on all levels of the business from an administration/clerical, coordination and analytical level, to management in various functions through to senior General Management positions. For those successful candidates who join in an administration level the opportunities are endless.

We are proud to support employees who want to access cross functional roles and who benefit from movement throughout the business. Internal succession planning is enjoyed by employees who illustrate their knowledge, resolve and drive. In the past we have had employees who have joined the business as a Marketing Coordinator progressed to a Product Manager and after extensive experience and achievements promoted to Marketing Manager. Other employment scenarios can include, commencing within the Finance Department in Accounts Payable increasing your knowledge base to include Accounts Receivable before taking an extra step in your career and moving into Management Accounting. From there opportunities continue to exist in broadening capabilities where an employee could cross step to Demand Planning & Supply Chain and in some instances take a full swing approach to change and move into the Brands in a Product Manager role. These are just some of the many examples we have of people movement within the business. Perhaps your Estée Lauder Companies Career Path will look a slightly different.

Here at Estée Lauder Companies we always advertise internally first to encourage succession planning from within. The combination of on the job training with professional qualifications and in-house training often leads to successful succession planning.
