We were proudly awarded Highly Commendable for our efforts, largely thanks to the participation of our employees which lead to us achieving a high engagement score, combined with the exciting initiatives were are working towards to make Estée Lauder Companies - Australia a great place to work.
For 2009/10, 110 companies' participated in the Best Employer accreditation process. 14 organisations received awards, including Estée Lauder Companies - Australia.
In the 2010/11 we once again participated in the Hewitt Best Employers survey. This year we may have missed out on the Highly Commendable award however our overall result saw us achieve a High Performance Engagement score. Our primary goal for next year is to reach Best Employer status. To accomplish this we plan to improve our attraction and retention of high performing talent!
The main points of focus will be around the areas of;
Career OpportunitiesTo gain an insight to how we will improve on the above mentioned areas we will be conducting focus groups. These focus groups will be selected from a cross section of the business. It will include employees from our brands as well as our corporate functions. They will be facilitated by AON Hewitt to enable an environment where open discussion will be paramount in helping us to build our solutions and implement recommendations to reach our FY13 goal of becoming a “Best Employer” within our region.
